Therapeutic Equines
Great for Mind, Body and Soul.
“There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.” Winston S. Churchill.
Researchers report on the many and diverse benefits of therapeutic interactions with equines. For many of us who own equines we can tell very profound and personal stories of how our equines help us through challenges in life. Non ridden or ridden equines can and do provide humans with opportunities to stay physically, emotionally and spiritually healthy.
There are many services that now offer people the opportunity to enjoy equine therapy. The Non Ridden Equine Association UK has links to these organisations and you can find details on our Non Ridden Equine Friendly Businesses page.
On this page – Therapeutic Equine - we provide some links to resources to inspire, delight and educate from a rich diversity of voices. If you are looking for information on studying and professional training please scroll down the page for information on organisations that offer these services.
Enjoy.
